Website Design Projects
The website for Community Water Solutions was focused on promoting a new business and quickly getting services and contact information posted for potential new customers. This website includes a link to Facebook, testimonials, describes the services provided, and includes contact data for requesting additional information or a consultation.
Camp Aquila Syrup
We designed a new website for the owners of Camp Aquila Pure Maple Syrup. Their goal was to promote their product and make it easy for customers to find them. The site describes the history of the property, has a YouTube video, pictures of the maple syrup production process and a list of local retailers and restaurants that carry Camp Aquila Pure Maple Syrup.
Onward Online Auctions
The owner of Onward Online Auctions contacted us to create a website for his new online auction business. We created a site with information about his business, easy to use navigation, and an interface that integrates with his auction software. Although primarily a desktop application we made sure the website would display with a variety of screens sizes.
Hobart Township contacted us to redesign their website so that it would provide additional information to its residents. We developed a mobile-friendly website that presents township information and policies in an easy to use manner. The website also spotlights their recently built town hall that is available for rent to residents and local organizations.
Otter Tail Beach Resort
We worked with the owners of Otter Tail Beach Resort to design a new, mobile-friendly website that showcases their resort located in "lakes country" in NW Minnesota. One of the key new features was to create a page that displays their availability calendar. The new website has an up-north look and includes a FAQ section and a feed from their Facebook page.
By working through an iterative process we were able to design a website that fit the needs of the town board and area residents. It contains common township components as well as links to local organizations. We provided training and documentation so the township clerk and can upload meeting minutes and make wording changes.
The Bekkerus Schott Helmeke DeConcini Johnson project involved redesigning their website to have a fresh new, professional look. The information about their partners and staff is more personable, balanced with descriptons of tax/accounting services, timely articles and links to on-line services and resources. New are fillable data forms.
Friends of Maplewood
The Friends of Maplewood State Park project involved creating the organization's first website. The site includes information about the organization, including an online membership application form, a list of park events, links to the Maplewood State Park website, and there are many colorful photos showcasing the beauty of the park.
The Galaxy Resort
The Galaxy Resort is a family resort and restaurant located on Star Lake in Otter Tail County, Minnesota. This project involved implementing features such as an availability calendar for their cabin rentals, an online cabin request form and building the site using a more modern, responsive platform so that it could be viewed from a variety of devices.
Star Lake Association
The Star Lake Property Owners' Association project involved recreating a website with an updated look and feel. Included in the website are: a Board of Directors listing, a News/Events page, links to articles/websites, meeting minutes, newsletters, an online membership application, a photo gallery, and contact info/maps.
Foster's Marine Service
The owners of Foster's Marine Service had decided it was time to have a website created for their business. We used an interactive process to find out what they were looking for which allowed us to create a design that promoted aspects of their business balanced with a fun, colorful design. They were extremely pleased with the final result.
T. Eckert & Sons
T. Eckert & Sons are commercial painting contractors based out of Fargo, ND. For this redesign project we were able to refer to an existing website as a starting point for content. We then created a design based on a more modern, responsive platform that included an updated look and feel, easier navigation and an online job application form.
We began the project by creating a prototype which we presented to the Candor Township Board. The prototype illustrated how township documents could be posted/archived, how to include historical information, use of links to other websites of interest to township residents, and how they could post public notices and emergency weather announcements.
Star Lake Township
The Star Lake Township project involved designing and developing their organization's first website. The website features include: a Board of Directors page, a News/Events page, links to articles/websites, meeting minutes and newsletters, sign-up for an email mailing list and a content management system so that they can upload township documents themselves.
The Minnesota Maple Syrup Producers' Association project involved doing a complete makeover of their website. New features include an online membership form that populates a directory, adding the ability to pay membership dues with PayPal, an enhanced photo gallery and recipe box, as well as an Admin login so they can make updates themselves.

When our former web person resigned, we asked Aubrey if he could take a look at our web site and make some recommendations to improve and bring it up to date. He looked... he had some ideas... and we said go for it! 60 days later the Minnesota Maple Syrup Producers Association web site had a complete make-over with several new features and a new look. He kept us informed with every step and did a great job. After a short trial period, we "went live" and are proud of the results.Stu Peterson, President, MMSPA
The website looks great, Aubrey. Very easy to get around and it is easy to look at! Thanks for all the great work with it.Arlette Preston, SLPOA President
